- Investing a minimum of two million euros in any Irish real estate investment trust listed in the Irish Stock exchange for a minimum of three years.
- Making an endowment of at least half a million euros in a project of public benefit in the educational, health, cultural, sports, or arts field. In case you find at least four other investors interested in this opportunity, you can each pay a minimum of €400,000.
- Demonstrating a personal net worth in excess of two million British pounds.

Keep in mind that most people opt for the Approved Investment Fund option, since it provides a great return on investment. Low-risk investment funds like the Irish Diaspora Loan Fund are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. If you choose to go this route, you will rest assured knowing that you will have maximum protection of your funds.

Once you send your application to the Ireland Residency Program, it will take about six to eight months for it to get approved. After the approval, you will have one month to select the type of investment you’ll make. When you make your investment, you’ll be issued a two-year resident visa, which will allow you and your family members to work and study in the country. Once this visa expires, you will have to submit an application for a three-year visa extension.
